This is one of my illustrations while I was doing my schooling at OCAD. (They have changed the name OCAD University)
When I was in OCAD, I remember that I actually tried to use all different media to find "my media" and " my style" .
Thesedays, I mostly do digital works. However, the firstep is drawing with pencil. Then I scan my drawing and do the coloring steps on illustrator or photoshop. Also, sometimes, I do the texture with water colors or pencil, color pencil as well.
I do say my traditional illustration experience has become a strong foundation for my digital illustration.
This is one of my favorite traditinal illustration works.
